Home Automation

Home automation has become more affordable in recent years and will soon become a standard feature in residential housing. With a basic home automation set up, you can control any light or socket outlet in your home using your phone, from anywhere in the world.

You can even ask Google assistant to do it for you – voice control.

For example, if you have a Google nest speaker in your kitchen you can ask it to turn on the lights if your hands are full or dirty. You do not need to touch the light switch.

You can also set up timers for lights to come on or blinds to open at certain times and have features such as “all lights off” with one press of a button or voice command, which is handy on the way out the door. Never leave something turned on by accident again.

You do not need to automate your full house. You can just do a few things to make your life easier. Once you have used home automation you will not want to go back to switching lights by hand.
